Boone County Nature School

Show Me a Branded Campaign

The Boone County Nature School is the first place-based education center of its kind.

Once completed, the cutting-edge school will host thousands of elementary school students for immersive field trips, where they’ll foster deeper connections with their local ecosystem and learn to care for the environment.

The Boone County Nature School had strong community buy-in, but it struggled to raise the funds necessary to build the bespoke school building it had imagined. To reinvigorate the organization’s fundraising efforts, we created a multidimensional campaign for the Boone County Nature School.

Show me a place to…

The campaign concept was inspired by the wonder children feel while exploring the outdoors — and the hyper-local focus of the Boone County Nature School. The ‘show me a place’ messaging is a nod to Missouri, the Show Me State, and its flexibility mirrors the varied experiences students will have at the nature school.

What I appreciated most was the turnkey clarity their team brought to the process of design decision making and ongoing communication. Hoot hit their timelines at every juncture, presented our group with a range of compelling options, listened responsively to our needs and feedback, and as an added bonus good humor and laughs were shared along the way to an inspiring marketing outcome.
