The holding company has always been at the forefront of the digital media space, which has earned it contracts with many Fortune 500 companies. But there was one thing holding it back: True Independent Holdings’ employees struggled to sell the company as an alliance of brands that work toward a common client goal.

True Independent Holdings is one of the largest privately held media companies in North America, and its rapid growth meant constant employee onboardings. But it didn’t have the language necessary to explain the complex holding company to its team, which made it impossible for employees to explain the company to clients. To get everyone on the same page, we created True Independent Holdings a distinct visual brand and custom messaging architecture.

To alleviate True Independent Holdings’ communication pain points, we wrote consistent internal and external messaging for the brand. The memorable language guided the company’s internal culture and gave the team clear messaging to use externally.

In order to build energy around the launch of its new brand, True Independent Holdings hosted an internal launch party that brought together its four separate teams. The internal rollout emphasized the importance of the new brand and achieved the staff buy-in necessary to make it a success.
