Peggy Jean's Pies

Spilling the secret ingredient.

Peggy Jean’s Pies is a specialty bakery run by three generations of women. PJP has its pie recipes down pat, but its original brand lacked a few key ingredients.

PJP came to us with a logo and a website, both of which were stunting its growth. To get Peggy Jean’s up to speed, we took its existing assets and added a cup of color, a pinch of sass, and a healthy heap of ecomm capabilities.

Look Ma, We Made It

Peggy Jean’s was ready to take its enterprise national, but its website didn’t feature any ecommerce tools. To help PJP scale, we created a Squarespace website from scratch. And of course, we were sure to include ecomm capabilities, which allow PJP to ship its pie-in-a-jar product to hungry fans across the country.

No website is complete without branded visuals and messaging. We built a bold brand around PJP’s existing logo, one that tells the story of the women behind Peggy Jean’s and reflects their spunky personalities.

In addition to a polished web presence, we brought the voice of owner, Rebecca Miller to life in a way that is scalable and trainable via our Brand Personality process. Prior to working with Hoot, Rebecca knew how to write in her own voice, but couldn’t communicate the voice principles that make a brand not a blog.

World Pie Domination

PJP runs a beloved blog site that racks up thousands of views every month. To give the blog room to grow into its own brand, we gave it its own URL and a complete visual makeover. With a professional website and brand, the #WorldPieDomination Blog is better equipped for, err, world domination.
